Are you running CWS on the Fiery itself? What's your version of CWS?

It was 5.7, but our Xerox tech came in and had to reload the whole system. Now we are 5.4 and I cannot find 5.7 on EFI at all.
Why not install 5.8?

I would encourage you to go to 5.8. There were many enhancements and improvements implemented in 5.8.
Also a couple of things to confirm when attempting to login.
Fiery in Idle Status (Blue Fiery Bar on top)
IP address is correct. If on the Fiery, try loopback IP
Are you logging in as Guest or Admin

Our Xerox service tech came and wasted no time to re-install the entire systemWe lost days of profiling, workflow settings and jobs. He could only install CWS 5.4, which still needed 8 service packs to update. After re-profiling 4 of our papers, the entire system collapsed again. This time I installed CWS 5.8 directly overtop the 5.4 and we are back in business.
