Default Fiery software on generic pc

I was asked by an IT rep , can you load system software on any pc , not the original pc that Fiery shipped ? They have a 41-A. I didn't know what to tell him. Is there something " special " about the pc is what was asked.

Unfortunately no - the software looks for a Bios Chip that effectively has the serial number of the motherboard on it along with what has been purchased - GAPPE / Clear / Gold etc - effectively identifying it as a "Fiery" - if you try & Install the system software on a PC it will tell you what you already know ? i.e. it isn't a Fiery..
