Default Does a Fiery Impose template know whether to save as .dbp or -imp?

I want to set up a Fiery hot folder that leverages an Impose template. But I am confused: if a template is saved while Impose is open, and how does the template (and therefore the hot folder) know whether to save the imposed job as a .dbp job or as a flattened -imp job?

    Thanks,

    Steve

I might be totally wrong but I guess, HF can't flat at all. Therefore the job is always pushed as .dbp in this case.

Oxident is correct. Applying an Impose template with Fiery Hot Folders will result in a .dbp job. If you want a flattened pdf (that's what the -imp file is) then you could look at using Fiery JobFlow. The latest version of JobFlow has the capability to save a flattened pdf.

As the product manager for JobFlow I can confirm the free version of JobFlow is able to impose to a flattened PDF.
