Does the version of Windows on the rip have Remote Desktop capabilities?

We're buying a company and they have plenty of rips. The operators will eventually required to use our ERP to log hours associated with jobs. The ERP requires Windows as an operating system.

My first thought was to just install the ERP on the RIP, but I don't want anything to distract from the RIP since I know it tends to be memory and cpu intensive. So the thought was to allow them to remote into a terminal server to run the app. It begs the question, does the os have mstsc.exe on the machines and can it be used?

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Yes, the Fiery rips with windows does support MSTSC. It can be enabled/disabled in Fiery config. It is enabled by default.

    Thanks,
    Craig
