Default Looking to learn VDP using the latest CWS6 and Windows 8.1

(Tried searching "vdp" here (in the parent board, so all forums) and got 'no results' - obviously a glitch of some sort.)

The 'Sample Kit' uses Windows 7; we've tried 2 sample jobs so far and neither have worked.

    Thanks for any non-sarcastic help!

    Hello,

Have you tried looking up articles on VDP on the EFI SmartSupport site? Just type VDP into the search bar and a number of articles pop up.

You can also check our eLearning site. We have courses to help you learn Variable Data Printing there as well.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks. I don't know enough to understand the topics that come up in your SmartSupport site with a 'vdp' search, but I'll definitely have a look at those four 1-minute courses. Much obliged. :-)

There are How To guides online that you can download. They include step-by-step instructions with sample files so that you can try variable data printing on your Fiery.

Note that Fiery's built in VDP printing is called FreeForm.

    Best Regards
    Mark
