Question Upgrading finisher / does the Fiery recognize it automatically?

    Hi!

I'm wondering if the Fiery recognizes a change in the printer's capabilities automatically. For example, if I'll add an SD513 to a KM1070 and make sure, the printer itself is properly configured in terms of firmware/dip switches, do I need to reload the Fiery system software on my IC-308v2 (FS150 Pro)?

    Thanks for any help!

No, you do not need to do anything to Fiery - it will dynamically adjust to it being there. As far as print drivers, if 2-way/bi-di is enabled in driver, then appropriate driver property settings (if any) will change too, to reflect finisher. Otherwise update "Installable Options" in driver properties.
