    Default .FRX files through Fiery

I'm looking into printing some reporting from Visual Fox Pro (.FRX) through CWS and the Fiery.

The current Fiery Driver doesn't allow for this print type.

Without working through Job Flow and converting, or adding a post script driver to the reporting tool, is there any way that the Fiery Driver can be switched or updated to accept these files?

    Anyone have experience with .FRX?

    Thanks!

Fiery does not ingest proprietary file types. It is a printer, and it ingests print-ready files and streams.

Your .frx files are not print-ready. You cannot import .frx files directly, either through CWS or JobFlow.

If you can come up with an external system that will convert your files to something that's print ready, such as Postscript or PDF, then you can import those into the Fiery.

But that conversion is outside the scope of what Fiery was designed to do.

What do you mean by "The current Fiery Driver doesn't allow for this print type"?? How do you print these reports to, say, a desktop printer?

What about the Fiery driver fails with these files where a desktop printer succeeds?
