    Default Gangup disables image shift

Hi, I have a user that is trying to print the same image front and back on 11x17 paper using gangup layout. He needs the images front to back to line up (I'm assuming for trimming purposes) yet when he enables gangup it disables the image shift selection in finishing. Is there any way to get these images to line up? Is there another method (selections) that should be used to get this to work? Could it be an issue with the printer? I would think when doing gangup printing in this fashion the images would line up. Thanks for any assistance. PAul

    Default Gangup disables image shift

If you are using gangup in the properties tab, image shift is one of the items that becomes disabled. You have a couple different workarounds. One is to do the gangup in Impose (if you have this option) save the output as a flattened PDF and then image shift will work. The 2nd is to use the fiery align-tray option to line up your sheet front to back, then gangup will use the new alignment and you will be good to cut your final sheets.

    Cheers!
