Default MacOS Sierra, cant find printer / install driver

    Hi,

So i thought i'd give Sierra a go, got Fiery Command to install but cant get the printer driver to find my network versant. Under Yosemite and El capitan, i had no issues, it finds it straight away and installs the driver, but under Sierra, it cant find the printer, even if i input the IP address manually. Any ideas / tips?

    Default Driver

If you had a driver installed previous, did you try to uninstall it with the Fiery uninstall tool?
Also, try to download the latest driver from the Fiery website if you not already done so.

How do you setup your queue? you do automatically search or do you set the IP address manually (use TCP/IP)? If you already have installed the driver, try to go to cups
    type in web browser: localhost:631
And you can adjust queue settings in there : make sure it is setup as folowing:
    lpd://IP_Address/hold you can also use socket://IP_Address:9103 (9100 -print and 9103 - hold)

    Hopefully this will assist you.

    Cheers

    Hi TLPS2014,

To my knowledge, our drivers are work with macOS Sierra 10.12. However, we found an issue with language settings that may cause non-English drivers to appear in English. The fix is being addressed and more details are available in this thread.

If you are having issues with driver installation, please try what Remi suggested.

Let us know how it goes!
