Thread: Fiery Print Driver - Windows 10 zoom/scaling display issues

    Hello All,

I not have answer to all of your enquiries, but I found following information on the Fiery Communities site.
This seems only for Windows based computers, and does not go into Drivers, but more into applications as CWS, Color Profiler Suite 4, etc.

If you cannot access that site, basic it says that:
Do Fiery Applications such as CWS, Hot Folders and Color Profile Suite support Surface Pro and 4K resolution monitors

There is a workaround that doesn't affect the other applications. Instead of changing the resolution of your screen, The current workaround is to turn the font scaling off – in the windows control panel, set the fonts to display at 100%, only change it per application. Please see the attached for instructions.

The instructions are in a pdf, but I will write those down for the ones who cannot access the site.

Please follow the instructions and browse on your Hard Drive and find the application that is displaying too small or compressed.
    1. For example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Fiery\Applications3\Color Profiler Suite 4 or C:\Program Files (x86)\Fiery\Fiery Command WorkStation
    2. Right-click the application and choose “Properties”
    3. On the Properties screen, choose the “Compatibility” tab at the top.
    4. Check the box next to “Override high DPI scaling behaviour”.
    5. Then in the dropdown choose “System (Enhanced)”
    6. The next time you run the application it should display correctly

Hope this will help a few of you with the display problems for the CWS.

Remi - thank you for the answer below, but this still doesn't take care of the print driver properties box.

Any update or word on this? It's embarrassing to tell customers that they just have to deal with it.

    Good news!
This issue is fixed in Command Workstation 6.3. We now support HiDPI displays, and Windows font and layout scaling.

We have plans to release new printer drivers supporting HiDPI in the coming months for currently supported products.
