Default Image Enhance/Imposition... 2 halves, same image = 2 different shades

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and is aware of a workaround?

Basically, I'm using Image Enhance after imposing. I'm imposing 2 images per sheet/spread, so they run together as 1. The problem is that Image Enhance treats them both as separate images and applies different enhancements to each 'half', meaning that 1 side of my 'complete' image is often darker than the other.

I'm producing photobooks and the 2 separate images make up 2 halves of the same picture.

Is there a way to stop this from happening, or to have Image Enhance treat the 2 halves as a whole?

    Thank you

How are you bringing the original into the Fiery? Drag and drop/direct import PDF, or file-print?

What happens if you image enhance before imposing?
