Default E-22B - Losing PMS Transparency when using standard booklet feature

    Good day all,

I have this account where when printing a booklet I lose this opaque block of color. The value is a PMS color with a 17% transparency but if I change that color to a CMYK value it prints properly. Again this only happens when printing as a booklet. Normal printing is not an issue. I tried enabling composite overprint and optimize RGB transparency.

I added a pdf of the 2 pages.
    20160617170955004.pdf

(page 1) is what it is suppose to look like (top left blue transparency is there)
(page 2) is what is is doing when printing as a booklet (transparency on top left is missing)

I have the file to test further but in my showroom I have a E-42B on my Pro C5100...not a E-22B

Any suggestions are truly appreciate.....have a great weekend and happy Father's Day to you and yours.

I've encountered this before. Its in the Acrobat file. I created a action list that goes like this: Select all, check if object is set to knock out, set fill and stroke overprint to off. This will remove all overprint issues. Still keep overprint on in your CWS properties as this doesn't remove the overprint.

    Hope this helps

i certainly don't. I've encountered many issues with it. However, it may solve this, and it may not.
