Default Minimize your down time by backing up your Fiery Server! Check out a new checklist

EFI encourages all Fiery users to create a back up image of your Fiery controller to use in times when re-imaging is the only option. Attached is a checklist to help you through that process. It is localized in all supported languages. Just download, unzip, and pick the language you need.

    Cheers!

I never received any Fiery media kit DVDs. Is there anywhere to download Fiery System Restore or get it some other way.

EFI does not post system software for the Fiery controllers. You will need to contact your local authorized reseller to obtain your media pack.

What OEM printer and Model Fiery do you have. Depending on the model Fiery, you have several options related to backing up the Fiery.

    Regards,
    Randy

    You received a media kit.

And you SHOULD have gotten the speech to "keep this in a safe place; if you lose it, you cannot rebuild your Fiery until you buy a new kit at your expense".

    And it is NOT cheap.

There are Fiery software dvds but nothing I would call a media kit, and in checking the DVDs I see no Fiery System Restore software.

    Doyle,

You should have 4 x dvd's for the EXP2100 Fiery + Acrobat DVD's PC / Mac Versions with the LAC code for Impose / Compose ( if it is loaded on your system )

System Disk 1 - Black & White Finish
    Disk 2 + 3 are the Win 7 x64 Image ( in a sealed white pocket & are a plain silver finish )
Disk 4 - User Software DVD

It would have been delivered with the Fiery.

System Restore / Fiery Clone is on DVD 1 - you boot from it & click on your language -> next & then from the menu select backup ( if thats what you want to do ) or restore to / from local disk & go from there... it is pretty self explanatory..
Remember you are what you eat ! I'm a twix..
