    Default CWS 5.3 or 5.6 Disconnecting after approx. 2 mins running on Win 8 64bit OS

    CWS is disconnecting approximately every 2 minutes from the Fiery. Fiery is running 1.0. We have tried uninstalling CWS 5.6 and reloading. We have also tried downgrading to 5.3. Still same symptoms. Any suggestions on what may be going on?

    We need a lot more information to help you.

    Does the problem show on other computers running CWS, or only on your Win8 64 bit machine?
    Is the problem new, or an ongoing issue since install? If new, what changed?
    Have you contacted your service rep about this?
    Have you tried disabling firewalls, antivirus, windows defender and other such things that monitor or block network connections on the computer running CWS?
    What fiery model and version do you have?

    If you can give us the full picture, we will be able to guide you more efficiently to isolate the problem.
