    Default Booklet and bleed

New to being involved with the Fiery Workstation and trying to help solve a few issues that our operator is having with it. the issue is with building a booklet with bleed. We have a PDF made from Indesign. It is in single pages and has bleed. So where you look at the PDF the trim, crop and bleed setting are correct. Each page does have bleed on all sides, including the insides. When we impose and built booklet on the Fiery it is pushing the pages out. It is picking up the bleed on the inside as part of the page. How do we adjust for this? Our fix was to edit the pdf and set the insides of each page to the bleed and trim to be the same. A pain but it worked.

    Help please.

Have you tried setting the page size to user defined?
Impose should then correctly identify and use the bleed area...

In Impose, use the Gutter function and set it to a negative number that's equal to twice the bleed.

Your single page PDF should not have any crop marks ... Send your file over to the fiery and impose ... Select your booklet template and add your crop marks... You shouldn't have any problems
