Default I can not open the job properties in cws 5.5 from OSX 10.9.x

I uninstalled the entire package with the Fiery utility software Uninstaller and then I reinstalled and still all the same. I've also tried different versions of CWS. Can someone help?

What system version is your Fiery RIP?

I am also running OSX 10.9, but I had CWS 5.4 installed.
So, for kicks, I upgraded to 5.5.
While it does allow me to change the properties, CWS does post an error.

In case the developers can use the info from the log:

13:24:11: Directory '/var/folders/ZS' couldn't be created (error 13: Permission denied)
13:24:12: Failed to create a temporary file name (error 2: No such file or directory)
13:24:12: can't open user configuration file.

    Default Workaround

This error is occurring because Command Workstation is trying to access a temp folder, which is no longer accessible.

    Here is quick workaround:

    1) Launch Command Workstation
    2) From the Command Workstation menu (next to Apple menu) select > Preferences & select "Cache"
    3) Click "Change Folder"
    4) Click "New Folder" as "CWS5" inside "Documents" folder & Click OK
    5) Also in preferences, select Paths, and change the Temporary path to a new folder inside documents folder.
    6) Restart CWS

If the problem comes back, it could be that some other process is either deleting or changing permissions to a parent folder - such as an antivirus app, or some enterprise software.

Let us know how it goes.

It is a multifunction Xerox Color 550. Software Release v55.40.61

I uninstalled the CWS 5.5 and then I installed the CWS 5.2

    Now if it works
