    Default Connection problem

    Hi

I have Mac OSX 10.6.8 and a EPSON RIP Station 5000 pro

I am running CWS Macintosh Edition 1.7.0f10 as CWS 5 is not compatible with this old RIP

I can see rip in server list on startup but when I try to connect the light on the front of the rip flashes and nothing happens.

    any ideas?

    Default Connection problem

    Hi,
The Epson RIP Station 5000 is a legacy product, which went end of life approx 7 or 8 years ago. I regret that the system code does not support CWS.

When the Rip Station 5000 was launched, it came with separate applications, Fiery Spooler, Fiery Downloader and Fiery Print Calibrator. You were also able to use Web Tools, although the Java on this system is very old and might not be compatible with the newer versions within the current release of browsers.

I wish I could offer better news, but in its day, it was an awesome rip with lots of functionality.
