    Default PrintMe Connect software see's printer, but wont connect

    I can add the printer to our PrintMe connect software and it will show a green check mark that it sees it, but along the right side of the screen it says: Unable to reach the server for update, please check your internet connection.

    We have a small network here with only 1 subnet, all items are on the same one. Server can ping printer IP and get reply.

    Any ideas?

    Default Same problem. I have never been able to get it to work.

    Fiery 50_45C-KM running system 8e
    IP = 192.168.16.226 static
    Subnet = 255.255.255.0
    IPP = yes

    iPhone 4 running iOS 6.0.1
    IP = 192.168.16.24 dynamically assigned
    Subnet = 255.255.255.0
    WiFi connected to the LAN

    Windows computer running Win 7 SP1
    IP = 192.168.16.27 dynamically assigned
    Subnet = 255.255.255.0
    PrintMeConnect Version 1.0.6.0
    No firewall

    Printer shows up in PrintMeConnect but does not show up in AirPrint from any app on the phone.

    PrintMeConnect displays error message:
    Update check failed
    Unable to reach the server for update, please check your internet connection.

    Hello,

    Are your IOS devices IOS 6? If so this is a known limitation with the current version of PrintMe Connect.

    EFI is working on a new version of PrintMe Connect to address both issues. (IOS 6 support and "Update Check Failed.)
