Default PRO80 UPGRADE TO 3.0A but want to upgrade HD first...

before i take the plung and upgrade to 3.0a can someone send me the directions. i have both disks, but i want to replace the hard drive with a 1TB hard drive, as currently drive "D:" is only 15GB, and out of room, when running print jobs to the KONICA C6501.

Any recommendations on HARD DRIVE BRAND or type?

    1TB, 10K RPM, 16MB CACHE ?

    SOUND BETTER?

during install can i state how much more room should be in each partition?

    thanks for help.

Putting a larger HDD in your Fiery is not supported (it "might" work OK, but it is an unsupported configuration)
Instead, simply run Fiery's System Updates utility on your freshly rebuilt v3.0a and it will install patch 1-19I4G8. This patch will move Window's pagefile to E: partition, which will take care of space issues on smaller D: partition.

If you do install an application (example: Color Profiler Suite) that gives you a choice where to install it, make sure you point installer to E: partition

You should get replacement via KM support.

A couple models installed at the factory were:
    - Hitachi DeskStar 160GB 7200rpm SATA
    - Seagate Barracuda 160GB 7200rpm SATA
