Default Canon Server A3000 or A3100???

We have a Fiery unit that is the PRO80 silver brushed aluminum model, but the badge on the front of the unit says ImagePRESS Server A3000. All the documentation I find shows that the A3000 is a white and black Q-Series tower and that the A3100 is the silver aluminum PRO80 style. But the A3000 label is a factory label. This is very confusing - what Fiery model do we have here? And what is the difference?

    Thanks for your post.

Some later A3000 systems had the case you have - brushed aluminum. Older ones used the black and white (actually more of a dark hunter-green and beige/cream color). They are the same product but with different cases.

It is most likely that your system is in fact an A3000 as the factory label says.

    Many Thanks,

    Karl

Default RE: Later PRO80-style A3000 Fiery Server

Karl, thank you for the fast and informative reply. Do you know if this later PRO80-style A3000 unit has a different Media Kit and/or different software version than the earlier Q-series-style unit? Thanks in advance!
