MicroPress v8.3 on Windows 7

Hi Guys, could you tell me why I get an error that says "MP Config has stopped working" when we try to install on Windows 7 Pro SP1 (as an Administrator) We cannot get past this to install MicroPress, but have done it on another unit from the same disks.

Hello Rodheaton,
Can you describe at what point during the installation the error occurs? For example if it is happening after you have set up your VE's (virtual engines) and PE's (physical engines) then what did you use for the VE/PE name? If the name contains special characters or is longer than 32 characters this can cause an installer issue. Another thought would be to not install any VE's or PE's during the installation (leave blank) and complete the installation and then go into PSM configuration and set up the printers the more traditional way.

Hi Rich, It is just as we get to the point where we have to configure the VM's. What we have done though is re-install Windows 7 with a disk format too, and this has got rid of the problem.
