    Default EFI v.1.2 o a DC250

    Hi

    our customer have a DC250 w/EFI version 1.2.
The user reports that once a week (approx) they suddenly can't use the MFP's finisher options. Specifically the booklet/imposition features.

I've now found out that a simple "Server reboot" via CWS resolve the problem.
A MFP restart does nothing and it IS possible to use the finisher options, so the issue is 2way communication between the EFI and the MFP.

anyone have any input for this?

    Hi Anders,

I am not aware of this issue, but you may want to check if the Fiery is up-to-date with patches.
    DC250 v1.2:
    https://liveupdate.efi.com/WebUpdate...90EF562437.PPD
or using the Fiery Webtools/check for product updates.

You may also want to change the crossover cable, change the motherboard's battery, and temporarily disable the DC250 power save to check if it helps.

    Hi Laurent

    thanks for input ...
its a broken link for some reason ... but i started it manually through our Teamviewer to the customer.
    Im missing the following:
    1-12QLIN, 1-18A38A & 1-1E0R4A

The middle is something about "upgrading samba" ... Could this be the patch causing the error?

this link should work. It will display all available patches for that model.

I don't think that the Samba update patch is related.
