Default Identify job from Hot Folder in Command Workstation

Is there a setting I can set to see which Hot Folder submitted a job to the Hold Queue in Command Workstation?

    Thanks!

One way would be to add the name of the hotfolder in 'job notes' when you define the hotfolder job properties.

You can then add 'notes' to the set of job attributes you display in Command Workstation.

CWS will then display the job notes in the hold queue and you can identify the hotfolder which sent your job.

    Good idea, thanks!

From a feature request perspective, it would be nice if Command Workstation was aware of jobs submitted by hotfolders. And even better, if CWS would group all hot folder submissions into "folders" so that the items from a single hotfolder could be printed at the same time. (in our world we want to put everything into the hold queue and let the operator choose when to run the print - and with multiple hot folders, having everything mixed together in the hold queue doesn't work well.)

Can you submit this as a feature request, or what do I need to do to submit this?

    Thanks!

Thank for the request. This is something we will look into.

    Default In the backlog

I've added this as a feature request to the Hot Folders/Command Workstation backlog.

    Thanks!
