    Hello,

The Fiery controller should print small or large files without issue. With your larger files it sounds like you are getting a PostScript error of some kind. Here are some basic troubleshooting suggestions.

    1. Try printing the problem job to file.
    2. Use Adobe Distiller to see if it can process the job. If distiller fails, the Fiery controller will probably fail in the same way. If the file processes properly with Distiller, try sending the same job to the Fiery controller with CWS.
    3. Try exporting the Job as a PDF from InDesign

Simple steps like this should help isolate or narrow down where the problem is coming from.

    Thank you,
    Bruce

    Good morning Bruce,
The customer can drag the file to CWS and it prints fine. They can also save it as a PDF and print it through the Fiery. It just takes more time than printing straight from InDesign. Is it that particular file causing the PostScript errors?

I'm not sure what is meant by they can drag the file to CWS and it prints fine. If that means a print-to-file sample processes properly, it should do the same when printing from the driver. I could be file problem but that would seem unusual.

    Best regards,
    Bruce
