Duplicate pages since CWS5.3 update
Hi all,
Just want to share an issue since the 5.3 update...
We frequently run variable data jobs which are composed through FusionPro and sent to CWS as 500 page PDF files. Each page has a unique number.
We're in production at the moment and have identified large numbers of duplicate sheets. In effect the machine is actually printing some of the pages twice. The impact is that the matching of these sheets with other numbered materials has been thrown into chaos as the sequence has been affected by the duplicates.
As we run these jobs most days and have done for a number of years we are fairly confident that the error has come as a result of the update to CWS5.3. We will conduct proper testing to ensure this is correct but would like to advise people to be cautious with this update.
Regards,
Juergen

If you're using CWS to do the imposition, this could definitely be a bug.
Why don't you have Fusion Pro do the imposition instead, and feed flat ready to print sheets to the Fiery? It's much more efficient--and in this case, will avoid any issues CWS5 has with imposition.

Juergen, we'd like to better understand this issue and investigate. Please provide your Fiery model and version. Also can you share any files for testing along with your exact steps to reproduce including how you are submitting your PDF files and any job property settings applied? If needed, we can provide you with an ftp site location to upload a file.

Salve, a tutti, quando lancio un jdf su la command workstation con lo switch dei vari cassetti, se il file e' piccolo funziona tutto bene, mentre se il file e' grande circa 800 pagine, inizia a scegliere la carta dal cassetto sbagliato.
