    Default CWS 5.3 crashes on paper jam , doesnt start up

    I yesterday uninstalled all cws 5.2 apps, installed only 5.3 as suggested on the fiery rip of the Xerox 550

    All was working fine BUT , if the Xerox 550 has a paperjam , the CWS 5.3 crashes without any error , it shutdowns... When the paperjam is still present you cant even start up CWS anymore..

    When the paperjam is cleared, then CWS works again ...

    Strange? Bug?

    Fabio, we are investigating this issue and so far are running CWS 5.3 on XP and Win7 clients which do not show this issue. Just to confirm you are running CWS on your Fiery server itself? Also wondering if you have CWS installed on any clients and if yes, do the clients show the same behavior? We will update the CWS on our Fiery next and retest your issue.

    Hello ,

    yes the cws was updated on the fiery itself , without other components.. i think the fiery is an 64bit edition xp

    I have not tried other Clients, i will do that after my holiday
