Default Remote Scan 5 Doesn't Email or Fax

I have Fiery Remote Scan 5 and it works fine if under "send" I save to disk. But when I try to email the file, it doesn't arrive and Internet fax is grayed out. FTP appears to be an available option but I don't think I need it. I would like to email and fax. How should I proceed?

Have you setup the Fiery for email? You'll need to login to the Fiery and edit the server properties to match your email servers. Then you should be able to use the emailing function of Fiery Scan.
Currently using CWS 5.3.1.32 on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1.

    Running 3 Ricoh machines:
    Pro C900 - ProC900 v4.0 System 8 Release 2 (PLP Installed)
    Pro 1107ex - EB-1357ex v1.1 System 8 Release 2
    Aficio 3260 - E7000 v1.2 System 6e.

Also, once you get email configured on you Fiery server, look for an Internet Fax check box on the "Initiate" tab in Fiery Remote Scan. Internet Fax will use your outgoing email settings though so you'll need to get email configured first.

    Thank you,

Default regular fax or internet fax?

If you want to fax to a fax number, then this won't work for you.

Internet fax allows you to fax to an email address (of another internet fax machine, or any user) only.
