    Default Telnet

Does anyone know if the Fiery itself or the CWS runs a telnet server, or responds to any TCP/IP requests? Is there any documentation anywhere?
I heard about some wifi app for the iPhone that allows you to connect remotely, so was wondering if there was any capablity there?

    Anyone?
All I want to know is if there are any quieries it responds to. Is there any documented syntax or protocol?

It would be quite cool for example to make an app that can collect the meter reads off all devises remotely.

    Spencer,

no, Fiery does not respond to telnet messages. Some background info: Fiery's use the proprietary Harmony framework to exchange information and triggers events between the different user tools like CWS, hot folders, etc. More info about the Harmony SDK can be found here: http://www.efi.com/products/corporat...structions.asp

If you need information like meter reads one can use standard snmp functions. You do not need the Harmony SDK for this.

    Hope this helps,

    Hans
