Default What are my options ?

I have a Canon IR6800C D1 (I also have an older L1 Fiery stand alone controller).
We now run a number of Mac computers and are stuck at upgrading them to Snow Leopard (and presumably Lion later this year, as we cannot get a driver for the printer.

Can anyone tell me if i have any options, other than buying a new printer, so that we can get a driver working. Can we fit a new controller to the printer?

    All suggestions welcome

    Hi Alex,

    Thank you for your post.

Because support ended for both of these systems a few years ago (before Snow Leopard was released), any recommendation would be unsupported.

You could try using a newer driver (one that supports Snow Leopard) for a similar product - such as for the imagePASS H1 driver for your D1 and the imagePASS U1 driver for your L1. These can be found on your Regional Canon Support website.

Please be advised though - Because these drivers are much newer than the D1 and L1, your results could be unpredictable.

    Best Regards,
