if i Create the Duplex VDP file from FusionPro Desktop will Fiery Impose be able to do the imposition of the file? instead of doing the imposition with the FusionPro Imposition?

SeeQuence Impose can do the imposition of your 1 up VDP files. You will want to make sure your VDP application will be able to generate the 1 up file in the required size and you may want to test other VDP formats such as PPML to avoid having to create separate master and variable files.

There is no reason for the fiery to impose the Fusion Pro output. Fusion Pro comes with a VERY nice imposition tool that will do it automatically when you compose the file. Fusion Pro is the bomb!

agree with Craig. Fusion Pro does it way better and more simply than the Fiery itself does. The Fiery has to RIP every image and then move them around post-RIP, which is some heavy duty work and takes lots of time. Fusion Pro simply re-arranges the data, then creates the fully imposed sheet in whatever PDL you request--PDF, Postscript, PPML, VPS, etc.

MUCH easier, not to mention faster and more reliable.

You won't find a trial download for Fusion Pro. It's only $600; just buy it. You'll understand the moment you use it. It's probably the best $600 you'll ever spend.
