    Default DC 900, Duplex printing

We have a Document Center 900 with a number of finisher options, and a XP 70 controller.

We have been attempting to print A3 with top to top duplex and Z fold finish. So far every A3 job has printed with top to bottom duplex and Z fold.

XP 70 is running system 7 and we have tried both CWS 4 and 5.

Not solved yet but there has been progress.

A3 is fed as SEF (Short Edge Feed) so the Top of the page is the first shot edge that is fed into the machine.

We are currently testing the advice given to us by FujiXerox which is:

    Landscape: Top to Top
    Portrait : Top to Bottom

    Default Solved

Short edge feed was the issue.

The top of the page is the edge, long or short, that feeds into the machine.

In order to have the pages duplex properly we have set up Top to Bottom Duplex and the page orientation set to landscape.
