Default SC919 on Ricoh MPC4500 with E5000 Fiery.

I have a Fiery that when printing various documents, causes the machine to have functional codes and requires reboot. Job goes to hold queue and cant be reprinted. Code indicated connection issue with Fiery. Tried Fiery on different machine, same deal. Reloaded, replace HDD, reseated memory and patched.
Have noted network connection does disconnect intermittantly even using crossover on laptop.

    Hello,

The most recent system for the E-5000 is v1.01.

I'd also suggest upgrading to CWS 5.1 and the new Fiery Utilities.

The software can be found at http://www.efi.com/cws5/contact/thank-you/.

The software can be downloaded and installed on top of an existing installation. Please note that if you have installed client software from a System 9 Fiery, and wish to install Command WorkStation 5.1, you will need to download and install an updated Fiery User Software Package from http://www.efi.com/support/download-software.asp. Choose “Fiery Application Package 3b” from the EFI Software section.

    Regards,

    Rod.

    Thanks for you reply,
The Fiery does have 1.01 and all patches. The customer is using CWS 5.1. The problem is with the fiery not the user software. They are sending prints via a PS driver on the server.
