    Default Image disappears after proof..

    Hello,

I have recently found what I think may be a bug within the imposition software. After creating a 4 up 2 sided job using the gutter tool, image repeat as well, I went back to view the job after proofing, to discover that the image had totally disappeared. Then when I print the job the image isn't there. So I went into gutters and reset the area and the image re-appeared.

I am using a Konica Minolta bizhub c6500
    Command workstation version 5.1.1.14

Hope that this helps someone else.

What system version is your Fiery at currently?
In CWS5, go to Device Center/General/General Info tab. Then look just above IP address - there you will see your Fiery's name and version.

It would be good to know in more detail about your job (original's size & orientation, print size & orientation, Impose settings, etc.)

fiery system is 8 release 2

The job was sent as a PDF size was 10 x 5 (2 sides) Job is to be trimmed so crops were on from PDF so I had to decrease the gutter to fit more on the page.

Job was set up on 12 x 18 4 up with gutters -.75 between each (portrait orientation)

when the job went into the printed items folder after proofing I brought it back into the held jobs (Process and hold) and removed raster data to view in imposition and this was where the problem was noted. The gutters had changed to 9 point something and the image was totally off the page. (Yes all 4) I then changed the gutters back to my original setting and it solved the issue.

It is important to know the specific version your Fiery is running (1.1, 2.0, 2.1, etc.)
The System 8 Release 2 refers more to the general code base being used.

Refer to my original response for how to determine specific version.

    Default Same here . . .

Found this happens to me sometimes.

Create an imposition, save it, print it.

Go back to imposition and find gutters have changed to 23000 mm or more! WOW! that's one heck of a big gutter!

    Definitely a bug!

Release version = c6500 (65C-KM-V 2.0) - I think that that is what you were looking for?

    If not let me know.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one!

    Thanks for your help.
