Default "Seach/Find" doesn't find content in notes

In CWS5 the search-function doesn't find contents, which is written in the fields "Notiz 1", "Notiz 2" and "Anweisungen" (Notes 1, Notes 2, Instructions).
In CWS4 this fields are also searched.

Please add this fields in cws5 or let the customer declare the fields to be searched.

We'll add this feature request for the CWS5 search. Are there any other common fields you used with the search feature in CWS4?

    Hi Karen_K.
No but, the super solution (most flexible) would be the possibility for the user of the searchfunction to choose out of all possible fields of the job settings. To find for example jobs using a freeform master, or a custom paper size, or composite overprinting, or ...

    Hi Rolf,
Yes, we can consider this request. However, my main goal is to keep the Search window usable and quick. We do not yet have an effective way to keep the design clean, simple and fast and still allow searching of all attributes. This is why I'm interested in what attributes you find most useful to search for.

Initially you proposed the notes/instructions field. Would you consider just entering job property values into the search field in the toolbar and reading through the list of every job who had an attribute that shared the value you were searching for (whether it is a name, color profile, notes, or page size)?

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Yes.

I think too, you should keep the search window simple.

My idea: a dynamic search window like Mac OS X and OS 9 searching with the option to choose more or fewer search criterias.

    For example:

    Search text in field logic
    <text input> <drop down list of all fields> <AND or OR from dropdownlist>

and two buttons for <MORE> or <FEWER> such criteria lines.

And the window should remember the last inputs, selections and window size and position!
