Hi all,

Having a bit of a issue here. CEO presenting to a full house at a conference and all of a sudden this pops up:

OK EFI isn't allowing the file to be rendered.... it says

Connection error. Please check your network connection and try again.

Where can this be turned off? if it can't, then how can I uninstall the update software. Let me know.

The updater is launched via Launch Agent located in /Library/LaunchAgents/com.efi.fpdu.plist

The following should unload the daemon and delete it:
sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchAgents/com.efi.fpdu.plist
sudo rm -f /Library/LaunchAgents/com.efi.fpdu.plist

You could also delete the Updater itself as well which is located in:
/Applications/Fiery Driver Updater.app

I've given EFI feedback that this app should be optional. Most enterprise will probably want to test a driver update before pushing them out. And of course you want to avoid the updater running in situations like you've described.
