Sharp MX-3501N & MX-PEX2 system software V2.0

All network functions ARE working.

Customer cannot view the webpage of the Sharp or Fiery, from a pc with windows7 64 bit, using 64bit IE, however...He CAN view the page by using a windows XP 32 bit PC.

We have tried the obvious things so far, IE 32bit compatibility mode, rebooting and resetting the fiery.

Any advice or comments would be helpful, and if anyone can "bench test" this type of setup, even if the fiery does not match, i would be interested to see if this is isolated to the customers PC's

We know that Internet Explorer 6/7/ 8 has a 2083 character limit for the URL, but I don't think that it is related to your case, since it only applies when going into WebTools/Configure/Check for Product Updates.

Did they have a chance to try from another Web browser such as Firefox or Chrome? Is Java installed and enabled? Did you disable the firewall for a test?

Do either of the direct links work from the 64-bit OS?

MFP:
http://IP_Address/main.html

Fiery:
http://IP_Address/wt2parser.cgi?home_en

Thank you,
Bruce
