Hello,

We are having a problem calibrating on our Xerox EX800.
Fiery System 9-fully patched, latest CWS5 and calibrating with ES-1000.
We can launch calibrator from CWS5 and select our spectro, cal set, and paper.
When we try to print the cal sheet to the printer, it looks like it processes for a split second, but then it disappears and doesn't print. It does not end up in any of the qeues(all 3 are published).

Any ideas?
This occurs from all workstations and the server itself.

Thanks.

Hi Printfun,

Have you got a Xerox 800 Color Press with a EX1000 driving it ? if you have - I think the reason you cannot calibrate is to do with the Stock Catalog on the PCUI on the Press.
Logon as Administrator Goto Stock Catalog choose your stock & in Advanced setup take the tick out of the "Stock By Name Only" & then save - log out - reassign the stock to whatever tray you are using & then try calibrating again.. see if that works

That is correct. Thanks thistlegorm, I will have them give that a try.

Excellent - found this out on the ECAT trial - if you have any other questions around the EX1000 - feel free to ask, it would appear to be the most prolific RIP for the XC1000 & I've had a lot of experience on it - it is a really good RIP..
