Hi all,

I've been struggling with this problem for some days and need your feedback.

DC242 with embedded fiery V2.0 and patches 1-U8E58 1-Z4E66 1-ZEDRD 1-ZG4BK 1-ZWTV6 1-11QG9E 1-1275R4 1-12EYB8 PRODID 1-130Y4Y 1-14JQQ9 1-15BOTL

Latest driver for OS X and CUPS filter.

Client is Mac OS X 10.6.x (tested in 10.6.4, 10.6.5 & 10.6.6)

Applications tested are Acrobat professional 8.1.3 and Illustrator and Ps CS3

PROBLEM: sending 10 copies (or "n") of a 1 page document is received as a one copy 10 pages document. Document is processed 10 times, as seen at CWS.

Action: I have uncheck Collate option at application print panel and I have checked it at Finishing 1 driver panel (also other combinations…).

Doing same Action with any other app such as textedit, Safari, Firefox, works fine: 1 page 10 copies and page is processed once.

Also, there is no problem in windows environment with same mc.

Existing workaround is to print one copy to hold queue and change copy count at CWS then release the job.

Problem did not occurred in OS X 10.5.x or 10.4.x

I know there a number of issues with Adobe CSx and Snow Leopard (wrong rotation of images, etc), but I have not found any info about this problem yet.

Thank you very much for your support

Jose Luis

I have finally been able to test with Acrobat 9 & 10 and Illustrator CS4 and problem is not present.

So this is a problem already solved in updated Adobe applications, although you need to uncheck Collate option at the time of print in main print panel.
Collating needs to be managed exclusively from printer characteristics panel
Termination 1 in Fiery driver.

Hope it is useful for someone else.
Best regards,
Jose Luis
