Hi,

Not sure I understand what you asking ? do you mean does the 7556 (7555 - doesn't exist) support Network Switch Connection ? ie the EFI server & IOT Controller have seperate IP addresses ? as opposed from a Direct connection whereby the controller on the IOT has 100.100.100.102 as an IP address.
My understanding is that it does not support it - the Workcentre 77XX series with the new discovery IOT controller does - if you want to, can you post a config report ? & I will check the software version

What sthompson meens is DualIP configuration.
Is it possible to configure the Xerox 75xx with fiery for Dualip configurattion.
so that you can print to the Xerox controller and the Fiery controller with 2 different drivers?

Ok - as I thought Dual IP ( Using Network Switch ) is not supported- basically because you do not need it.

Everthing goes through the 1 x IP address.

1. Set the 75XX IOT controller to DHCP via the GUI.
2. Power down both the IOT controller & the optional Fiery Controller.
3. With both of them powered down confirm the crossover cable is correctly installed from the IOT to the Fiery & the clients network cable is correctly installed.
4. Switch on IOT & wait for it to come ready (approx 3-4 mins ) , then Power on the Fiery - when both are ready you should get a startup page with the customers IP address if DHCP is supported, else you should be able to configure the Fiery basics from the 75XX GUI using Webtools.

You can now configure your Fiery Print Driver Port to Point to Hold or Print on the Fiery.

If you have users that do not want to use the Fiery & simply want to have a quick print come out - then all you need to do is install another printer using the Fierys IP address & the Xerox Controller Print Driver - however configure the Port setting to Port 9200 - this will bypass the Fiery print queues & go direct to the Xerox controller.

Hope that helps
