We are having printing issues to the Xerox Work Centre 7435 with EFI Fiery RIP and we are using the latest drivers from the Xerox website but no luck.
The latest CUPS filter has been applied to the MACs

The print job spools from Quark and goes to the print queue on the local machine then says itís on hold or spooling and never prints.

It never gets to the printer as I have been monitoring it using the web facility and according to the forums this seems to be a common thing.

I have checked with Quark support but there is no help other than upgrade to Quark 8

The current configuration is as follows:

OS: Mac OS X 10.6.4
Processor: Intel
Quark ver: 7.5

Is there a Ďspecial driverí that isnít publically available, similar to that of the printer that was installed in Black Library to resolve the Quark printing issue.

If we take Quark out of the equation. You have run the Fiery OSX dmg file & it has installed correctly. You then installed a new IP printer - not Bonjour - & have pointed to the IP address of the Fiery & in the Queue name entered hold, then navigated through Library - Printers etc & found the correct 7435 ppd. With everything configured correctly Open up a pdf & print to the newly installed 7435.

With CWS open does the job appear in there ??
