Can anyone tell me what an F3 refers to when booting up? This code does not appear in the LED diagnostic listing.

Thanks

The Bootblock recovery code gets control when the BIOS determines that a BIOS recovery needs to occur because the user has forced the update or the BIOS checksum is corrupt. F3 describes the error that may occur during the Bootblock recovery portion of the BIOS2: start reading the recovery file cluster by cluster. Since you can't do that manually, a system reinstallation is required. If it does not solve your problem, swap the RAM.

Hope this helps,
